Stereonet density and kinematic assessment
Stage 02 of the Rocscience Dips sequence: pole-density clusters, mean discontinuity sets and the critical kinematic zone are reviewed on the stereonet to identify structurally admissible failure directions.

Process stage
The stereonet combines contoured pole concentrations, set statistics and the kinematic overlay. Concentrated clusters identify dominant discontinuity orientations, while points entering the critical zone satisfy the geometric conditions of the selected failure mode.
Technical reading
The result is a geometric screening of potential instability; it does not by itself calculate a factor of safety.
Role in the modelling sequence
Discontinuity-set analysis, stereographic interpretation and rock-slope kinematic screening.
